The school is on S.V.Road, situated at a stone’s throw distance from Khar railway station in Mumbai.The Khar Education Society from which the school derives its name was formed in 1934 it took over ‘Bal-Mandir’ which was started in 1930, added further classes and named it ‘Sharda Mandir’ in 1993 at Khar Mumbai, and brought it under its banner.
