As Founder Principal and Director, Mrs. Chopra established the  school in a single room in 1960 with a desire to put her education to good use. In a  time when working women were an anathema, she dared to dream. The challenges  and obstacles were immense, the road uphill and the task enormous. With continued  service, hard work and a will to succeed - her efforts bore fruit. New Era Public School became and continues to be an institution whose name is synonymous with  excellence in Education. Mrs. Chopra is a beacon of light and a source of strength to  all those whose lives she has touched.
