Shishya School was the first English medium school, in Selaqui, founded in 1986. It had humble beginnings with only Nursery and KG class. The building, which is the present pre-school, was a two bed-room house, renovated many times as the school grew… adding small rooms like pockets here and there wherever space was found. When Frieda and Ken McRae founded the school, they admitted their own children who were told that “mom” is now “ma’am” at school.
